One of the key enhancements is the capability to stream games directly from the cloud. Initially, the PS Portal was intended to serve as an accessory for the PS5; however, an update in late 2024 granted it independent functionality, giving users an innovative method to indulge in their preferred games without having to for a PlayStation console.

The cloud streaming the functionality is currently undergoing evaluation and currently accommodates a limited selection of titles from the PS Plus Premium catalog. Nevertheless, Sony is dedicated to expanding its streaming choices. The organization seeks to improve the overall user experience by incorporating valuable feedback, with a range of new features anticipated to be introduced in the near future.
